Can't Access Lenovo Recovery Partition

Long story short, I deleted main partition on my thinkpad and can't acess the recovery partition, and every time I hit the "Access IBM' button, it just goes to a bios screen saying to either go to BIOS or try and boot normally. I've looked around and learned that its because I deleted my MBR.

However, it was convoluted as to how I could access my recovery partition again. So simply, how can I access the R51e recovery partition and restore my install

*EDIT*

This is the section you'll likely find useful:

If you have Windows NT / 2000 / XP, you can boot from startup floppy disks or CD-ROM, choose repair option during setup, and run Recovery Console. When you are logged on, you can run FIXMBR command to fix MBR.

I don't think its a matter of fixing it. Its more of a matter of needing the RIGHT MBR. People are saying that they use a program called GRUB to access their partition.. Sadly, I have no idea how to use this...

I'm going to apologize in advance for being rude...

Who's "people?" You seem to think "people" know more about what you need to do to fix it, so why are you asking here? Why not just ask "people" how to use it if they're telling you that's what needs to be used to fix it?

If in fact you are looking for help here and not just looking to confirm what "people" are telling you, use the information in the link above. You deleted the MBR... the fixmbr command in NT/2k/XP/Vista is the equivalent of fdisk /mbr in Win9x... this will fix or rewrite the MBR, which is what you want to do since you deleted it.

I realize this is going to be one of those redundant and slightly offensive suggestions, but assuming you get your system back up...........burn the rescue disc set. It will save the day if your partitions ever do get wiped or you replace your harddrive for whatever reason. Good luck with the MBR fix.
