Cans vs. Bottles

who cares.....either one works for me....but if I really had to choose and the prices were the same...I'd take the bottles....

Added bonus: glass isn't a good thermal conductor, especially when compared to aluminum. The beer in the bottle stays at a colder temperature longer. Of course, this point is moot if you're a college student drinking beer at a rate of 1 can every 3 minutes. Otherwise, if you're nursing a drink for 15 minutes or so, the bottle wins.

I won't drink beer out of a can. I'll pour a can into a glass or plastic cup before I'll drink out of the can. Ick. I prefer straight from the bottle.

This is why God created the beer coozy. 😉

If I'm drinking out of the container, I prefer bottles. But I usually buy cans and poor them into a glass/mug.

a good beer deserves to be poured into a glass, and those are almost universally sold in bottles.

a cheap beer (nothing against cheap beer - i'm drinking one now) doesn't matter if its in a can, glass, or bottle.

Bottles sound better when the mess is cleaned up.

Bonus points if they fall to the floor and break. 😛

A bunch of fine breweries are canning their product now. Better lining & no threat from light actually give it a better chance of tasting fresher. Just grab your favorite pint glass & pour. Dale's Pale Ale is one of the best brews in the country, & it comes out of a can. 🙂
