Canon SL1

Hi everyone, I just received a new sl1 from a recent sale canon had. Anyone here have this camera and can offer some good tips and advice?

Also I have a micro SD card but apparently this guy takes a different format, what card should I buy for this?

Buy any micro SD card you want - the faster, the better. The camera will format it for you. Check the manual and menu for that.

You need an adapter if you have a MICRO SD card, as the SL1 takes non-micro SD cards IIRC.

My bad - the camera takes SD not micro SD. Micro SD with an adapter can work - but that is clumsy.

your microSD card probably came with the adapter for SD.

the nice thing about using microSD cards is that a lot of phones can use them natively so you can easily share pics just by swapping the card into the phone.
