The deal is the same as 3 days ago.
20% off coupon [deleted] (limit 5k uses)
Don't forget the $35 off coupon from eBay!
$349 - 20% - $35 = $244

How is the $35 off $300 coupon working when that's $280 after the 20% off?? Can you do the $35 before the 20% on their system to get it to go?

Yes, Dell looks at the price before the 20% discount so the 35 off 300 will work off your 280 20% off price.

Awesome. This deal works on the A700 too.

I recieved a 35 off 300 coupon from dell from purchasing the camera, not planning on using it so i'll give it fo the first person that pm's me. It expires on the 19th.

Woot, got mine yesterday 🙂 It's funny - I didn't even get the ship notification email from Dell until early early this morning 🙂

Charged battery last night (about 2-3 hours, also bought 2 generic ones off eBay for about $15 shipped), got to playing with it - it is amazing, compared to my A80 anyway. Shutter speed is fantastic, it's so damn small and lightweight. (Smaller than a deck of playing cards) The huge LCD screen is very nice for previewing photos. Haven't actually looked at the quality of the photos yet but will later on tonight. Pretty user intuitive. They got rid of the "dial a function" knob at the top and put it into the Disp button, which is both good and bad if you quickly want to change settings.

The movie function is now on the shoot/review slider, which is handy. For what I paid for it it seems like a sweet camera. 🙂

Mine has shipped and should arrive tomorrow, about a week before the "estimated" date.

Does anybody know what speed SD card would be sufficient for all the camera's functions (including 60fps 320x240)? would ~x50-x66 suffice, or would it need the x133 speed?

As a side, it's amazing to compare the thread here to FW Hot Deals, as most of the people using the same deal cancelled their orders because they'd have to *GASP!* wait a week or two!

According to Canon's site:

Fast Frame Rate Movie Mode allows you to record extremely smooth, full-motion movie clips for up to 1 minute long in QVGA at 60 fps (320 x 240 pixels). With a highly flexible movie mode, you can create the movie that's perfect for any application. Select from VGA (640 x 480 pixels) and QVGA (320 x 240 pixels) with frame rates of 30 fps and 15 fps for recording up to 1 hour or 1GB. Plus Compact Movie Mode (QQVGA; 160 x 120 pixels) records at 15 fps for up to 3 minutes

Since you're bound to 1 minute max @ 60fps, card speed doesn't matter I don't think. (It'd just take a while to finish writing to memory after the 1 minute is up for slower speed cards)

Digicams are more than just MP.

So true. Also, think about the size of the camera. I was going to get the SD500, then saw the dimensions. It made the SD450 a much easier choice (which is significantly cheaper than the SD600, as a % of the total price that is).
