Still a nice pocket camera though. I know a few people who have an SD400/450 and they are great little cameras. Used one the other day, in fact.
 
I've got an SD400 and it's a great little cam. Small, light, and got great reviews. This price does seem a little high though. I know the SD600 was on a deal a while back for just a little bit more. I think it was $230 or so.

Yeah, you can get the SD600 plus a free flash card (since the SD600 only comes with a 16MB one) at Newegg or Zipzoomfly

This SD450 is not a good deal at all.

I love my SD450. I take it with me everywhere I go, fits perfectly (with a case) inside your coat or jeans pocket.

This was the camera to get this time last year. Amazing what new technology they push out in a year span.
 
I would hold out for a newer Canon SD model for not much more than that price. The deals come around from time to time.

I picked up the SD450 for around $180 last spring. Great little camera that goes everywhere my D70 won't. (or I don't feel like carrying around..)
 
i have used the SD450 and yahoo rates it better than the SD600 that's why I bought it. At one time, the SD450 was more expensive than the SD600.. for some reason I just prefer the 450 even tho' i have not used the 600
 
My sister in-law has the 450 and it is ok. Cnet rates the 600 a little higher as does the user rating, but the difference is minimal. The SD600 is newer and, well it's the one my wife wants so for about the same price I am going with the 600. So unless someone knows of a better deal than $212.54 I guess I am going to Walmart tomorrow! Nothing like last minute shopping.
