Canon SD1200 or SD780?

Looking at buying the wife a camera since she's been asking for one for a while... She needs a good point and shoot camera that is easy to use and 'looks good.'

I'm leaning on the SD1200 (pink) for now due to the size, color and good pictures it takes, but I was also thinking we could throw in some HD video with the SD780 since we don't have a video camera. That would be more for me so to her it doesn't matter.
