Canon S70 Powershot

I have had my eye on this camera waiting for the S80 to come out (it did) and lower the price for the S70. (it did)

before I plunk the 300 or so dollars on this camera and I have read the Steves-Digicams review, do any of you people here recommend or have alternatives?

Well, as an owner of the s60, I am very happy.

I absolutly love all the shooting modes, and quality of the pictures. Battery life is amazing too. I probably only have to charge it a couple times a month.

I can only imagine that the s70 is also as great, if not better.
