If it was a price mistake I think they would have definitely removed it by now. Anyway, I got in on this deal and they sent me a email confirmation, so hopefully I'll get it soon.

But this is the deal I decided on. I'm building a PC for my parents for Christmas and I got a free printer for them (though they don't have to know it was free.) And it's not THAT much bigger than the S400. I doubt I will keep the S400 in my shirt pocket anyways, I put my cell phone in there and it just pulls my lighter summer shirts too much anyway.

I'm just glad I made my decision. Now my diarrhea is subsiding.
Thanks for the wonderful visuals :disgust:

The deal is over. I guess it was only for 9-11??? Well the camera can still be purchased arounf 360... just have to go to dell home. They have the camera for $499-$49.99.
then you can use the 20% coupon. The bad thing is that you dont get the printer... but who wants a inkjet nowadays? the s50 at that price is a steal. good luck

Has anyone gotten their confirmations yet? I ordered on 9-11 too and I still haven't gotten one. It's about time to email em about this.

I got an email back from them saying:

Dear Customer
As per the order placed on 9/11/2003 for Order Amount: $433.54 is in new
status due to OVERRIDE PRICE TOO LOW,so please contact our SOFTWARE &
PERIPHERALS 800-456-3355 extn-45503 for further assistance.
thank you

How should I approach this? Do they have the right to cancel the order just because it's too cheap?? I ordered the s50 printer combo and I added a sandisk 256mb memory card for $60 bucks.

What a debacle. Took me 5 phone calls to get through to customer service who transferred me to an "online division" who then said she could manually force my order. She asked me a bunch of questions about my business and gave me a ship date. She said that these orders were, quote "constipated" in the system.

She also did something quite special for me but I'm afraid to say anything until after I have a tracking number.

Stay tuned to this topic

All right guys, here's the scoop. The person before me was "doing me a favor" by cancelling the printer order and just shipping the camera for $310. That did not work, the order auto-cancelled. So Bob got it through for me at the bundle price of $356

Call 800 727 3355 x 45697

He's cool.

Sounds cute too

:D

Call 877-816-3355, then -->2-->2-->1-->2.
I got a CSR almost right away.
He confirmed my order and said it will ship overnight.

They asked me all sorts of questions about my business too. It was kind of silly. I told them I was the only employee, which probably wasn't the best idea, and that I was probably going to spend ~$1000 in the next six months on computer supplies (as long as the deals keep coming here!). In the end, she finally finished the orders for me. Phew.
