that is a good deal, almost worth the trouble, i bought these babies when they were $384 when they came out, maybe i will get one of these for my sister, almost as good as my S50 for 321.

For those who think that getting the gift certs is too much trouble, it really isn't. I've done it twice to the tune of about $4k. Sears, Circuit City, Home Depot, Lowes, JC Penney, Olive Garden, Blockbuster.

Combine this with some coupons going around and you can get almost 30% off your purchases at Home Depot or Lowes.

Sorry if you think this is too much trouble for a very good deal on an awesome camera.

-- my own "brag and moan" - when I bought the camera I was offered a Sears replacement 3 year warrantee for $68. Thought it wasn't a bad deal since after the 20% off it came out to only be $54. Anyway, when I got home I read the warrantee brochure and discovered that the warrantee was only for 2 years. Pissed off, I went back to Sears to get my money back. A manager there gave me my money back (on to my credit card) and then turned around and gave me a 3 year warrantee FREE !!! Oh yea, $315 (+tax) for a S400 with 3 year warrantee. Say that ain't a deal.
