Canon S200 was on clearance at the Jantzen Beach staples for $208 today. Apparently, not even available online. Pretty good deal, IMHO with no rebates, etc.

BM only as far as i know.
YMMV - no guarantee that other stores will have it.

I imagine they're starting to clear them out for other models, and the price may drop again...?

sounds right...a few weeks back it was on nationwide clearance for $269 (confirmed in cincinnati). Now its time to go in and grab it if they have any left! 🙂 Thanks for the post!
 
Well I checked the NJ stores

and they have it for 239 clearance price 🙁 ( Fort Lee, Hackensack ) has 1 in stock but it's the Display model and they won't sell it unless it has everything 🙁 if not they said they'll return it to the warehouse for a full credit)

Scored the last one, display model with tons of fingerprints. The manager goes, "did you hear about this from FW or something?" Anyways. I came out of the store and realized that the battery weren't there so went back and got a $30 discount for the lack of battery. I'm back home and found that the third party batteries are dirt cheap on ebay! Awesome deal. Thanks a lot.

$209 - $30off$150 - $30 for missing battery = $149 + Tax.

Good deal, though I would have preferred the same camera with the 3x optical. Picked one up tonight, I have 14 days decide if I want to keep it.

I just picked one up in Chattanooga, TN for $239. I'm impressed with this little thing. It's full of features and a breeze to use. I didn't like the little 8meg card though that came with it so I ended up forking over an extra $40 for a 64meg CF card.

I think they just rised the prices. Two days ago (april 1) it was 209 at store, but when I went back today the price raised to 279. Anyone else have any luck? Do you think they will lower the price any time soon?
