Well I bought the S2 at Staples and the manager let me return the FREE 256MB SD card with a value of $29.96 and I bought the 512MB SD card for $29.96 (it was on sale) :D Plus I got the camera for $439.99 (12% off all digital camers) I may return it though to Staples if Dell ever gets theirs back in stock.

Man I love this camera. It has SOOO many features and the Flash is POWERFULL compared to the SD400.

There's really no comparison to the SD400, the SD400 is nice but the S2 rocks.

You made the right choice. If you were just taking snapshots, then the SD400 would be fine. If you wanted to do more you would be stuck.

Yeah, it's bigger, but who cares really? Of course I'm a guy that thinks nothing of carrying a 20D with a zoom :p

Outdoors would be OK, but face it, little cameras suck with flash.

One more thing, automation sucks. There I said it. I have an A40, which is granted an old camera. It's still servicable though. It's limitation isn't the MP, but the lack of control. From what I understand, most point and shoot cameras havent changed much in this regard.

Anyway, post pics and enjoy!

Oh, and afterthought. Get either Neat image or Noise Ninja. That will allow you to use the higher ISO ratings with considerable image improvement.

Thanks I will give those two programs a try. This camera has a lot of controls I am still trying to figure out.
