buy the camera using this msn
go to ritzcamera and use msn passport. they have free shipping and a free 100$ camera kit. order it with Amex blue card and do a pricematch with these guys no hassle. spend $ .01 to get 80$ off

let me know if it works or if any of you think it wont work. msn passport may expire soon....supposed to expire the 20th of december.
If it doesnt work dont flame me or thread crap please. Its christmas time , we all need to cheer up a bit.

Merry christmas.

think this will work fine. the only glitch is Amex BVG policy is that they will not accept a claim if the store you buy from has its own Low Price Guarantee policy.............but many have reported they successfully got money back from BVG even though they bought the stuffs from stores that have low price guarantee.

Sounds like a great deal. I wouldn't pay too much attention to the $100 "kit" which is included. The kit includes some items such as inkjet paper ($10 worth), an offer for on-line photo storage and some coupons for additional saving on accessories (e.g. $5.00 off on a camera bag, etc.) I think this package is a joke and can't believe that they are advertising it as being "worth" $100.

However, putting this silly package aside, $219 seems like an awesome deal on this camera.

that is a free kit offered by Ritz, I believe XCLAN was talking about $100 worth of accessories rebate by Canon.

I received this accessories about 5 weeks after I mailed it in. 16mb CF card, additional battery and a sling bag (more like a small backpack). It's definitely worth it, especially the battery.

:(

I just got this for my b-day back in nov. for around $350 shipped...

however...it is STILL werth EVERY penny! SUCH A tight camera! DANG it's soooooooo sweet! The software that it comes w/ alone (just the photo stitch) automatically stitches together panoramas that this thing will take! I already took a 360 of our apt! I can't say enuF good about this camera! Small, SOLID, shiny metal, fairly light weight... MAGMAHOT @ this price!

^^THAT THERE^^ complete BS! I got my kit in like 3 weeks and it's WELL worth the STAMP that it cost me! It came w/ a 16Mb flash card, BATTERY (invaluable if you do much reviewing...which U will w/ anything above a 16mb card), small camera case that attaches to the sling (backpack sling that is) strap. It's such an incredible deal @ this price...it's almost Christmas present price!

I would VERY much encourage NE of U who aren't trying to be some kind of photoGURU to purchase this small quality piece from canon. *makes me which i had made it it's so tight!*

btw...it does
1600x1200
1024x768
640x480
and @ ea. of those resolutions it does Standard, Fine, and Superfine quality shots...so essentially you've got about 9 different settings for pic size/quality.

NEone know of NE places w/ photo contests online?

I use snapfish for my posting...unfortunately your friends have to "semi"register to see your pics...but tis' FREE! can't beat that!

The reason that Ritz gives you its own bogus extras -- which really only amounts to the printer paper -- is just so it won't have to PM with ANY other store. If you read the Ritz PM fine print, it sez that it'll only PM like offer with like offer, so if another store is offering the s110 WITHOUT Ritz's bogus extras, then Ritz won't PM with it.
Ritz is a pretty good store to deal with, but that doesn't mean it's above low-down tactics.

Yeah at Ritz Camera it is 399.99 and at the other link it is 299.00

Has anyone had success at getting AE BVG (American Express Best Value Guarantee) to send you the check when you pricematch the Ritz Camera w/ Yahoo Shopping? I hope it does...

BTW. When u call American Express BVG, make sure you have every little bit of info......like when u bought it, total on card, the price of the camera and the place where u r pricematching at and it's price... Pretty long...

Does anyone know if i can send an email of the links after i get the case number instead of faxing or smail mailing?

Thanks

<< it may be early, I may have no coffee, but I only see the camera for $399. >>

$399 - $80 (MSN Rebate) - $100 (pricematch with Amex Blue) = $219.

Fax it in with your claim# marked clearly, it's by far the fastest way to have them process your request.

Last time I emailed them the claim, they simply called me and still needed to ask little more info even though I have included every info for a claim.

Oops...I'm the blind one. You actually have to bump the purchase price to at least $400 to get $80. Otherwise it's only $60 back from MSN.

Anybody know if this is a better deal than buying it from crutchfield.com using MSN rebate and Amex? Crutchfield has a $25 off. Please comment.

Does shipping count toward the MSN Passport rebate total? I looked over the Passport terms, but didn't see anything specifically. Sounds like it rebates against the dollar total, not products only.

BTW, i used a lens cover ($3) that has been missing for long time on my SLR minolta to reach over 400. u can also add a battery. CF on ritzcamera are way too pricey, get it somewhere else

Well, I took the plunge. I figure, even if AMEX doesn't come thru, $320 is still not a bad deal for this little gem. Anyone tried to PM with AMEX Blue yet?? Or thru Ritz's own PM policy?

Thanks for the great deal!
