The S30 is 3 mp. S40 is 4 mp. Both the S30 and S40 have $50 rebates

Check the rebates. Both $50 and $100 are for purchases of camera and a SPECIFIC printer. None listed are $100!!

The S40 also has a slightly larger resolution and a few extra features...DPReview has the entire story, though. I have the s30 and am EXTREMELY pleased with it.

I have owned both and sold the s40. Buy the s30, but not from Dell. GOd knows when you'll get their backorder.
