BUY.COM has it for 335.95 - 25 coupon = 310.95 w/free shipping... and that $100 accessory rebate = 16MB flash + case + additional battery

EDIT: Nevermind, it started working.

The rebate link to the pdf on dell.com doesn't work for me. Adobe gives me some sort of error. Does anyone have a working link? Thanks.

Too bad I'm in california and buy.com charges tax. With tax, total is roughly $335.

the buy.com price is really a steal...
I consider myself lucky to have the camera for $360 some from an earlier OM deal. At a little over 300 there's no reason you shouldn't buy it.

Just ordered one too. I have had a few digital cameras over the years and found that the smaller the camera, the more it gets used. This S110 is THE smallest camera out there and has enough pixels for good pictures and even has video. I hope the metal body is duro enough for all the use I am going to get out of this camera!:D

I notice buy.com has a real time price adjustment according to how the demand is... sometimes I see the price go up during a hot deal.. hahaha sometimes it doesnt.. U know a website with price adjustment on the fly can shut these hot deals down :(

EDIT: F ME UP THE BUTT CHEEKS, the price went up to 356 now, those bastard.. darn, I didn't get a chance to order mine...

It's on backorder so you cannot use the $25 coupon. I tried ordering it yesterday at $335 -$25 coupon and it kept rejecting the order with the coupon because of the out of stock status. $310 shipped with the $100 in free stuff is a fantastic deal.

I just called 1800-OK-Canon and they said buy.com might not be an authorized dealer (They could not find buy.com in their database but they did find Dell). Can somebody verify this?

buy.com seems out of stock. Anywhere else? I would like to buy this camera in the next two weeks and try to get in on the msn rebate.

--ps on a side note, anyone know if a platenum amex optima has the same price protection as amex blue?

Buy it from Here, It costs $330 plus $30 to ship, but you CAN get $60 back from the MSN Deal, and they're authorized for the accessory pack. And, they have it in stock!

$330 - camera
+$30 shipping
-60 MSN
---------
$300 Total shipped

nealr -

what's the story with mpsuperstore - have you done business with them before or did you just do a price search for the best price?

resellerratings = 2.7 out of 7 = not so good...?

Damn that Buy.com price was hot, hopefully they are an authorized dealer otherwise a lot of people are gonna be pissed off if their $100 Canon accessories rebate is not honored, not to mention how difficult it is to return merchandise to Buy.com

I'm still trying to justify to myself to spend $300 on a 2.1 digicam when I already have a Fuji Finepix 1400 which more than suits my current needs. Then there's the debate of whether I should get the Nikon 775 or Canon S110.

RossMAN,

I am going for the s110 from photoalley.com. I don't think you can complain at all with this. I am getting the s110 mainly for its size and features. I really just want a simple point and shoot that will give good quality. The s110 fits that bill well.

Here is what my deal will look like once I get my finances in place:

camera $399.95
32mb cf card + $34.95 (pushes it over the $400 mark for the msn rebate)

sub total = $434.90
2 day ship + $12.95 (can't wait for long shipping times)

total cost = $447.85

msn rebate - $80.00
PM with amex - $85.96 (lowest price $313.99 )

total cost = $281.89 (includes the extra 32mb cf card)

And I still get the extra $100 worth of accessories from Canon. So for 281.89 I will get the camera, case, extra batter, 8mb + 16 mb and 32mb cf cards.

Not to bad if you ask me :) Since the current photoalley site special discount does not include this camera and it is over tonight, I am waiting to see what photoalley will replace it with.

Yes you can get the rebate if bought from Buy.com. I got it for 310. It's being sent to me as we speak. Should be great because I travel a lot and hate taking big cameras. I had 4 previous digicams and i hated the size. This one will be just perfect.

psloan - Thanks for the informative post, I may go that route also. I went to a local camera shop which had both the Nikon Coolpix 775 and Canon S110 so I was able to see both camera's in real life. First of all wow, they're both spectacular and the Nikon 775 looked A LOT smaller than depicted in huge blown up picts at imaging-resource.com, and other camera review sites.

The sales rep pretty much said unless the 2x optical zoom is a problem to go with the Canon S110.

I'm still trying to justify spending $300 which I don't have for a toy I'll probably only use once or twice.

I just did a pricesearch to find the msuperstore, but also I called to check stock, and I'm using a credit card for protection, and Also, all the other MSN Stores are good ones, so I figure I'll try them. I'll update when I get it.
