For those in northern NJ, it is sold out in Totowa, Paramus, and Union. Haven't tried the one in Watchung or Secaucus.

I experienced same thing. They refused my online coupon. They said if I wanted to use $40 off coupon, I must have bought something from Staples.com not from pricematch by calling them.

Are you saying that a store refused the coupon or was it a CSR over the phone that refused a coupon with a price match.

You can always order online and then do a pricematch via email. However, I am not about to authorize 560 dollars on my charge card and then deal with getting them to give me a refund.

can someone confirm that there is no 'factory seal' on this box, the only thing really sealed within is the battery and software cd, and the cables are in taped bags.

thanks

Got both my Powershot A50 (a while back) and this camera in an unsealed box. I even helped another person get one, also unsealed box. I guess the Canon cameras just comes this way.

wait am i smoking cracK?? for that price it could run on whale fat and it'd be worth it!!!

alright give me the scoop, where do i get this "$40 off coupon" thingy?

also, how long is this deal good till?

let me get this straight: Office Max has them for $299 plus $50 instant rebate, but I"m suppose to go to Staples and ask them to pricematch with Office Max and then subtract another $40 worth with a coupon, correct? Do i do this online or in store??

Hi,
You can buy them for $250 at your local Office Max.
Or you can call CS at Staples and have them price match, only if it is in stock at Office Max. The CS rep will call the OM to confirm the price. The problem : OM lists the S10 for $299, so the CS rep would have to have the OM rep scan the camera to show it sells for $250. (299 - 50 instant = 249). Just ask the Staples CS rep for the coupon, $40 off orders over $200, also, Staples has free S&H with orders >$50.

Goodluck
I bought 6 of these camera's :)

Yes you need to pick up the rechargeable kit, or you'll be spending and average of $10 per battery. jhassi, The link gave only goes to the battery not the kit. The kit comes with a rechargeable battery, charger and AC adapter for the camera. I bought mine for my Powershot A50 and a good thing it worked with this camera too. The model number is DK-110. I got mine at buy.com for $71.95 with $10 off $30 purchase on a free shipping day, so with tax (7.25%) my total was $67.17.

yeah i know about the rechargeable kit, but please, one rechargeable battery isn't enough, from what i've read it only lasts about 55 shots with the LCD on.

Crap, they didn't even have the S10 at the store in Christiansburg, VA. Lame. They said that all they carry is the S100.

Blah. I would have snatched that up in a second. Nice camera.
