Maybe I'm missing something but is this an instore deal where I go to the Staples B&M and have them pricematch OfficeMax ($249) then ask cashier to take off additional $40 coupon?

I am not sure what you don't understand.It is pretty simple.

Are you saying that the Staples person scans the upc on the camera and it comes up $249 or are you saying the Office Max person scans the upc for the $249?

The problem you may have is that Office Max may tell you the price is 399.99 or 299.99. Ask them to scan it. They will say this is the price in the computer. Say you know other people are getting it for 249.99 and you need it scanned to verify. It has a 50 instant rebate savings and that isn't showing up on the computer in our local area.

What is weird is that one store had it in the computer for 399.99 and when scanned it came to 299.99 and nothing about the rebate...or so the sales person claimed. We just called another store. You will have to find it in stock and that may be a problem.

If you are in Indy which I know some of you are...the Michigan Road area had it in stock today.

We found this deal on the bigsavings site and have just been waiting for Staples to put the camera on their site. We found it there today.

You need to have OMax scan it. In the system it still says $299 but when it is rung at the register it is $249.

Great deal if I can get my Staples B&amp;M to take an online coupon. The last couple of times they shot me down and said they had to have a physical coupon and not just the numbers.(In other words snail or direct email coupon)

Anyone else have trouble with B&amp;M Staples taking online coupons?

No link. This is a B&amp;M price match. The Staples person went to the Office Max site and saw the S100 and tried to tell my girlfriend that it was the same thing and just a typo. The descriptions are the same.

He was telling her this as he was placing the order after he called the store. I do not know if they are the same camera but it is irrelevant unless you try to get Office Max to price match their own store and use an OfficeMax coupon.

This is a HOT deal and I don't expect them to last long at Staples.

I've owned a S10 for a year now (bought one when they first came out) and it's a excellent camera. If in the market for a inexpensive digicam RUN, don't walk and go grab one!
