the cheapest i can find for the A75 is at butterfly photo for $219 shipped without the 128Mb CF card and the bonus that amazon offered. The only different is that A75 is has higher resolution than the a60 (3.2MP compare to 2.0MP). Both has 3x opt. zoom, they look identical to me. I will go with the A60 if I am looking for an entry level digicam. But you can always decide by yourself after reading some reviews.

I used the A60 for a while. It's a great cam, and 2mp always was good enough to meet my needs.

In the last year, I have purchased 2 - A60's as Xmas presents for my sons and 2 - A70's for my wife and self. Either camera model is great and well worth the prices mentioned. The only caution with the A60 is that you need to frame the picture tight to take full advantage of the 2MP sensor. Both produce great pics.

In my personal opinion, the A60, A70-75 and A80 represent perhaps the ideal "take anywhere" camera. The camera is small enough yet offers excellent ergonomics. Plus, it uses AA batteries and inexpensive compact flash memory, both of which are the least expensive power and media formats. I highly recommend you get yourself a couple sets of rechargeable NiMH batteries and a charger. Plus, in a pinch, you can always find AA alkalines anywhere.

I wonder how this guy compares to the Fuji A205 that you occasionally see for $75-100? I know that the Fuji requires more expensive xD memory cards. But the stats look about the same (2 MP, 3x optical zoom, etc.)
Also, once I got this rig I'm not sure I'd ever have a use for a $25 Ofoto Credit. Are Ofoto's prices competitive? I suppose some sort of a nylon case would be handy.
