is the difference between the sd600 and the sd450 only the MP? or is there more of a difference?

I believe the SD600 uses a newer image processor and has a few other improvements. It should be a better camera.

I don't know about the sd450, but I took a quick look at the sd600 & it doesn't have image stabilization.

OP:
Great deal, but the 20% off coupon has expired.

The $20 off coupon on your website still works, so please update the post for that deal ($319, which IMHO is only lukewarm).

And please add that for the extra $10 off, you have to use PayPal. Does PayPal give you the same protections as your credit card?

Good camera though, it's main benefit (over SDXXX < SD600) is an added ISO 800 mode for fast shots.

The only Canon SD series with stabilization is the SD700 IS (Image Stabilization). It's coming out in April, so we will start seeing it in stores soon. I've yet to find a "review" that isn't a copy and paste of Canon's PR sheet. Looks like the street price will be ~$500.

I have the SD400... and I was really happy with the form factor etc. until I took it on my trip to europe and I came back with lots of blurry pics. Apparently it was something to do with the tiny lens, low light, and my use of "auto" instead of selecting the specific film speed. This was not a problem for any of the previous cameras I've used (canon included).

I'm sure it's my fault for not reading the directions or something, but would this image stabilization feature you're talking about do what it sounds like and help out with my problem? I've seen a lost of posts online about this issue, so I'm curious.
