Where's the 70 MIR from? I bought a ip3000 a few months ago and got the deal with Canon when I purchased a PowerShot... Is this a new rebate?

AFAIK, the Canon rebate is $20 for just the printer and $70 if you purchase a digi-cam along with the printer.

If I purchase online, will Office Depot include a sales receipt or invoice and will both Canon and Office Depot honor this in their rebates?

OP, there have been several thread on this. It's acutally cheaper if you read the other posts.
OD IP3000 $99.99, OD $50 Rebate, Canon $20($70 if you bought a camera/pc).
You already counted the $70 in your post so you actually make money on this deal with the $50 OD rebate.

The online codes would work if i added any other printer but the 3000/4000. Several of us have instore $15 off 75 but they say not valid on printers, they always take mine thought. and if they won't just use the instore staples or officemax $10 off.

I got 2 rebates. One $50 and one $20 and I DIDN'T have to buy a powershot. The $20 was printed at the register and the $50 the manager printed off a computer.

I also used a $15 off $125 I got in the mail from OD. You might try the wallet place. So for a ip4000 it comes to 149-30Instant rebate-50 MIR and 20MIR - $15 coupon = $35 plus tax on 119.

I had to add a couple of reams of paper to get it to $125. they were selling buy 2 get 1 free of 113 bright paper.

You have to buy the Powershot with it. I just bought a SD300 and a ip3000 today. Camera from Dell for $274 (including the fvcking tax :| ) and the printer from Newegg for $65. So the printer ends up being better than free after the $70 MIR.

Well the deal (which has had a whole bunch of more succesfull threads) is getting the printer paid for by using the $70 rebate ($20 canon) and getting money back.
