I REALLY want to get back into time-lapse photograpy. I like the idea of being able to take video of events that happen over a long period of time. My search for a camera that would allow me to do time-lapse has been relatively fruitless, with most cameras being in what I would call the "expensive" range (ie $500+).
Just recently I (literally) stumbled across a wiki for the Canon Hacker's Development Kit (CHDK) that "unlocks" many features of the camera ... including time-lapse:
http://lifehacker.com/387380/turn-your-point+and+shoot-into-a-super+camera
and ...
http://chdk.wikia.com/wiki/CHDK
I was wondering if anyone here has loaded the kit on their Canon camera and if they had any good or bad experiences to share.
A recommendation of a camera to buy for this purpose would be great as well.
Thanks ...
