Picked up the Canon A530 last night at Staples in Fountain Valley CA, for 89.10
Noticed they had several at the Garden Grove CA location as well

Great price for a REALLY good point and shoot
5mp, 4xopt,SD,AA

Guess they're making room for the new models-A460

It looks like the new A460(which is sort of the 530's replacement-go figure) will have price point of around 129
It's 5MP, 4xopt,SD,AA but looks nothing like the 530
 
Damn, thats a nice price for a nice camera! Once again I get the shaft having no Staples anywhere nearby. 🙁



 
A540 replaced the A530 - larger LCD and 6MP vs. 5MP. I picked up a 540 from Staples two weeks ago for $160 but would have gone for the 530 if the deal was available then. Great camera for $90 (plus, find a coupon at your favorite coupon site to take off a little more).

yea on euclid, I went during lunch (heh I posted about 10 minutes before I left just in the off chance i might get a response that fast) and there were none there.

- I'll check at the store near my house on Jamboree, were you able to check online or did you notice them instore?

in reality i may just end up shelling out for the sd600, they had that listed at 200 bucks.

Thanks OP! A friend of mine has been wanting to find a good deal on a digital camera. Our Staples had it for $100, but she used the $15-off coupon to bring it down to $85. It was the last one out of both Staples in town.

Oooo, currently on sale for $169.99. The snob in me wants it in black, but the cheap bastard in me loves the price! And I can finally put that $30 BB gift card from my mother-in-law to rest.
