Title says it all. Is this a good deal? Buy.com has it for $150 but that is after a $50 MIR. I'm in California and there is no sales tax, shipping is $12.95 so total for me is $166.95

linky for canon a300 at buydig.com

Please comment :D Has anyone ordered from buydig.com and is this camera any good for that price?

I've ordered from them before, no serious complaints. They gouged me on shipping ($25 for standard Fedex, the camera was put in a box slightly larger than the camera box and one airbag was stuck in on the side) and they shipped it signature required (and the waiver wouldn't work, they had to deliver it to ME).

I got a good deal though, it was worth the hassle of trying to meet the FedEX guy (who went out of his way to deliver it to me)

I guess it isn't too bad of a deal ... Dell Home S&P has it for $199.00 - $19.90 (10%) = $179.10 + FREE SHIPPING ... so this saves about $13.00 over Dell's deal ...

There's a $15 off coupon at buy.com floating around to make it $135 AR.

Is this camera any good? I was thinking about getting it but it doesn't have an optical zoom (just a craptastic digital one).

If you are not printing above 4x6, I think most would be more happy with the Canon A60 which is better built, has optical zoom, has more features, no distortion effects from being wide-angle zoomless, better battery life, and better build quality.
