cannot run at 4x AGP mode on my GF3 Ti500

hi:
i just installed the MSI 8853 GF3 Ti500 and installed the drivers but i cannot change the setting to 4X AGP as it only stays at 2X AGP... =(
i have a KT333 mobo on an athlon 1700xp so i should be able to run it at 4X AGP right?
any clues...?

Did you head into the BIOS to switch it to 4x?

Also, if it is a Via chipset you need the 4in1 drivers installed in Turbo mode.
