Thanks Gillbot I read that forum title to mean that it was for Mods to post in, not the rest of us. 🙂

There is a notice at the top of that forum:

In this forum, members see only their own threads and any responses thereto. Only you and our moderators will be able to view your threads.

This forum is to be used for contacting our team of moderators about moderation related issues only. Think of this forum as the new AnandTech Moderator account.

Please do not use this forum to ask general knowledge questions or to make suggestions about our forums. Please use the Forum Issues forums for that.

I can see where he's coming from on that to be honest. In the sidebar it just says:

"Moderator Resources
- Moderator Discussions"

Doesn't sound like a link you'd bother clicking on so you'd never find that notice.

I posted this and the other post I made about name change in the correct place:

2. If your post concerns a problem with your account or is a general question about personal accounts, then please post in PFI.

Both the issue with being unable to respond to a mod and the issue of wanting to get my name changed are personal account issues.

That being said, since the site admin (KeithTalent) indicates I should post in the "Moderator Discussions" section, I will do so. 🙂
