OK guys here is a good one:
Every time I try to print from a web page be it from IE or Netscape the computer locks up. I can print from every other program I have fine. I have tried updating IE to 5.5 and Netscape to 6, that didn?t help. I also tried using the newest drivers from HP's website. The printer is a Deskjet 932C. I let the web page load completely and once I hit print it begins to spool and then locks the system up either completely or will give me spool32 errors. No other programs (Word, Excel, TurboTax,etc) give me spool32 errors. I have set the printer port to ECP, ECP + EPP, Normal, EPP, etc in the BIOS and that doesn?t help either. I have tried changing the spool setting to print after 1st page is spooled, after last page is spooled, I also tried changing it to RAW format and even printing directly to the printer, it still locks up. I have tried connecting to the net with straight dial up connection and with MSN's dial up package, it doesn?t seem to matter. I have also tried stopping everything running in the background that wasn?t essential and did a complete virus scan with the newest dat's using McAfee 4.5. I don?t want to have to format and reinstall just to get this to work. Any ideas guys? Thanks in advance.
