Cannot install Catalyst 5.12 Drivers for X1800XL

I cant seem to get the Cats 5.12 or any other Cats to install on my PC. Everytime I try it said that theres an INF error. I can install the Omegas but the Temps are off the chart. Any solution to t his problem? I did a fresh install of XP and that was of no help.

Which package are you installing? Have you tried installing just the base driver?

Yeah both give that same "INF Error. Video Driver Not Found" message"

Just so you dont worry too much, the 5.12's are basically just for dual core, so you dont really need them.

After you installed Windows did your install the latest chipset drivers for your system?

thats only to install the CCC. The driver should install no problem no matter what hes got.
