Cannot increase resolution MSI K9A2GM-FIH / 4050e / W2K

After my DFI mobo crashed I bought a MSI K9A2GM-FIH / 4050e / KVR800D2N5K2?2G combo to replace it, I also reinstalled W2K and updated it. Then installed the necaserry drivers for the board.
My problem now is that I cannot increase the standard resolution. It stays at 640x480. I reinstalled it all again today without any result.
Is this a problem known to anybody else ?

Is there a driver, specially for the 780G running W2K ?

First time I've had such a problem since I used and installed W2K during the last 8 years.

Well, I've used it since 2000 and I don't need another OS.
Except when this mobo doesn't work with W2K.

That would present a problem, yes. A quick google just turns up people asking the same question.
AMD's site only have W2K drivers for old cards like Radeon X850.

Did you already get these?
