that is odd.... well, for starters what OS is this? do you have any audio based apps running in the background or tray?
 
It may just be the file is corrupt (hiberfil.sys).

Have you tried Disabling Hibernate and then Re-enabling it?

When you do that, it will rebuild a New Hibernation file (generally equal to the ram installed).
