I had www.accessatlanta.com bookmarked and used it in the past. Now I get the error of page cannot be displayed. I know the website is okay because it works on another computer I have. I have cleared the history many times to no avail. I did a search for text for it and it came up in a few places still like "hosts" and "user.dat" in C:\windows directory. The hosts file is a "tweakdun host file". I assume the .dat is the registry and I may need to edit it?

Thanks.

Does the other computer you brang the site up on have a different interinet connection? Have you tried pinging the website? Have you tried using a different browser to isolate the problem to your browser?

If its IE, right click the bookmark and go to properties. Make sure the target is not a sub-page of the site (eg. www.accessatlanta.com/logon/somepage.htm) or something. The internal pages may have changed which would give you the error.

What happens if you just type the address in your browser, does it come up then?

Search for the file 'hosts' with no extension. You should find at least one in c:\windows\system or c:\winnt\system32\drivers\etc but it really depends on your operating system. Once you've found the file open it in Notepad and look for any lines like:

accessatlanta.com <some IP address here>

If you find it put a # at the front of the line and save the file. Then try accessing the site again.
