Cannot find Winows 2000 drives for Web Cam...any help?

So I recently fell into possession of a web cam (model: microsoft lifecam VX-3000 USB web cam). The drivers given are for Win XP, but I have Win 2000. After searching google, I had no luck finding any drivers.

Any help?
 
I really don't want to support microsoft any more than I have to...I don't want to buy XP, but if there is a cheap deal out there I might consider it.
 
Yeah, those webcams only recently came out.

Consequently, no Win 2000 drivers exist.
 
dang, I would have though if they are new then people would for sure have cracked them or patched them. sigh...any good deals where I can find XP then. Now that vista already came out I cant find any cheap deals for XP
