cannot find hardware key

I am using identatronics software to make id badges. It is telling me that i t cannot find a harware key whne I go to print then the program completly closes out. Any ideas? Im using win 98. There is nothing in the manual either.

Did it come with a serial port pass through adapter? That's prolly what you need. Many specialized programs came with it to prevent piracy.
