Cannot Disable Sidebar

In my "Personal Options" in my forum profile, I want to disable the sidebar. But each time I try to do that, it fails, selecting "Enabled" again. This happens in both Mozilla and Internet Explorer.

What am I doing wrong?

Our punishment for the enjoyment we all get from surfing the boards for hours on end is to have to deal with that stupid advertisement that nobody ever clicks on, on the side, unless of course you're using Mozilla and have a nifty little css file that some nifty little Anandtech member made.

So why is there an option to disable it?

The option is built into FuseTalk and on most sites you are allowed to disable it, but not here.

Also I think the remaining subscribers can turn it off as well.

I haven't tried, but I think it's possible in IE too. 😉

Download the css file, put it in the proper place (~/.mozilla/profile/random_stuff/chrome or something like that), and restart mozilla/firefox.
