so I have an older linksys modem, and someone gave me his older linksys router (wrt54g). I"m assuming I did everything correctly because when I connected the wireless router to the modem and the computer, my internet is still working. the 'internet' light is actively blinking on both devices.
however, when I try to connect wirelessly with my ipod, it does not detect the router.

in vista, where do I go to see what the name of the network is?
I tried to go to 192.168.1.1 but I do not know the user name and password. I used 'admin' as the password and left the username blank, but cannot log in. I tried to fill in user name with admin also, but still no go.
