I got this weired problem where I can't not see my CD/DVD drive in BIOS or inside Windows. I have tried the drive in another computer and it worked fine. I reinstalled the drive, flashed the BIOS, but it still doesn't work, anyone know why? Thanks.
If it's a CD-RW/DVD-ROM combo drive, it will need to be installed as a slave on your primary IDE channel, if you have another burner on your secondary channel. Also, you may just have the jumper set wrong, on the drive. Give us some information.
Sorry, what I meant was I have a CD and DVD ROM. My MB uses nForce 3 controller. I am just trying to get it working with single drive only. The power is flowing to it because it opens when i press the eject button. Im now at a loss...what should I do?
