I have a Linksys WRT54GL router and have it setup with WPA-PSK encryption using AES. I am trying to connect with a DLink DWL-G122 USB adapter, but can't. I don't have any problems connecting without encryption or with WEP. I am using windows XP to set this up. I go to the properties of the network connection, click on the "Wireless Networks" tab, and add my network to the Preferred Networks list. I type in the SSID, change "Network Authentication" to WPA-PSK, and "Data Encryption" to AES. I then paste in the passphrase I created into the two boxes, then click OK to close out of the menus.

Despite all of this I cannot connect to my wireless network. What am I doing wrong?

I should also mention that for some reason the DLink network utility is identifying my network as a WPA2-PSK when I use WPA-AES or WPA-TKIP.

OK now it works and the DLink utility is also identifying my network correctly. I can only figure the proxy filter (Proxomitron) I was using was causing the problem, because that is the only thing I changed right before I got it to work. See my other thread for more info about that.
