Cannot access webpages

Hi, there is a computer connected to my Vigor2006i wired router which is unable to view webpages. It could do so beforehand then suddenly stopped working after my sister used it for the printer.

I have tried the following:
- Scanning the computer for virus or spyware, none were found
- Check if I could ping yahoo.com, I could a successful response back
- Check if that computer could see the router by pinging the IP, and again a successful response
- There is a light flashing when the lead is plugged into the port
- A laptop works fine when using the same lead (so it isn't a lead problem)

Therefore it seems to see the router, able to ping yahoo.com, but I'm not able to view webpages using either firefox or IE, does anyone have any further suggestions to solving this mystery?

Any helpful advice is appreciated.

see if the router is assigning an IP address to the machine.
check to see if she placed any address's in the hosts file.
release and renew the IP address on the machine in question.

If you are able to ping the router, yahoo, etc the device has an ip address, the router is allowing traffic from that pc out and back. I would check the configuration of the browser and compare it to a known good configuration (machine that is currently working)
