Cannot access LAN over VPN

I have been able to successfully configure a VPN at my office using a D-Link DI-808HV Router/VPN. I have connected and was once able to browse the LAN at the office. Now I have lost that capability. Can anyone help me solve this problem?

I need to be able to see some files at the office from time to time.

Thanks.

If you successfully connect through VPN and get an IP address that matches whatever your company uses, you should be able to see everythign on the network. You culd try mapping the drive by name if going through Network Neighborhood doesn't work. Not sure why it wouldn't work if your VPN was working properly.

Ok I will try mapping drives to see if that works. The strangest thing is that I was able to browse the network for a brief time. Went to my bed, woke up and was not able to browse the network. Strange.

Is the tunnel running?

If so you are better off searching for resources via the IP addresses of the devices. Right click on "network neighborhood/my network places" and choose search. Type in the IP address of the sever/printer you want to get to.

Trying to browse network neighborhood for computer names over a VPN is flaky at best in my experience.
