Cannoe access forums in IE

When I go to http://forums.anandtech.com I get redirected to http://forums.anandtech.com/Er...rrorpath=/Default.aspx

and get the following message:


Ooops! You encountered an error, we have let the webmaster know about the problem.

Click here to return to the forums.


Only happens in IE... Firefox is fine...

The cookies got all messed up. You have to clear them to get the forum working. I think a lot of people can't access the site right now because of this.

I can only login to the forums if I use the IE tab. For some reason when I use FF, my login name and password flicker on then dissapear. And then when I try to login, the "Enter" button doesn't work.

i can access in IE and FF but not opera, cleared cashe/cookies and it still does not work

I can't access the site directly, but I searched for a topic on google, and was able to login and use the site from there. Weird.

This was a simple solution without killing all cookies.

Windows XP with IE 6 - If you try the site, then go to c:\documents and settings\currentuserid\cookies, there will be cookie@anandtech.com.txt or similar file. Delete it and the forum should now work, but you will need to login again.

I don't think canoe access is a feature AT intends to implement.
