A attribute a quick healing of my coloectomy to drinking aloe extract.
Dr. wasn't thrilled, but she couldn't really say no when I went on tour 6 weeks later....

I normally get a Q-tip and soak it in alochol and then dry off the sore then hold the Q-tip on the sore until i cant take the pain any longer. I do this several times a day. seems to dry them up pretty fast

A few things that help in the healing of these guys:

1. Rub salt into it (yes, it hurts, but the few minutes of pain will help it heal faster)
2. Pour citrus directly into the area (eat a lemon, orange, comquat, etc)
3. Rinse with Listerine daily.

All of these things help the healing process, do whatever you feel works best for you. I generally opt for #1/2 frequently.
