Canes move up to #2 spot, Ohio State slips to #3

The way the Buckeyes played against a sorry SDSU team, they certainly didn't deserve to be ranked #2. Basically, if the Buckeyes go undefeated this year, they play for the championship. If they don't (even if they lose just 1 game), they will not be in the championship game because they will not be ranked in the top 20. Bottom line, for the Buckeyes, rankings do not matter this year.......

Considering how well the Buckeyes played against Washington I was really surprised by the SDSU game.

exactly. it doesn't matter if osu wins pretty or ugly. as long as they win out their schedule, they get to defend their national championship.

Actually that may not be the case if both Miami and OU win all of their games by a sizeable margin.
