It is true games are becomming easier and easier (so it seems anyways). I played cal-p in Counter-Strike and it used to take a lot of ability and strategy of the game to be able to play at that level. Now the games are becoming much easier to play and people who have just picked up the game have a much higher chance of getting a random kill on me (very frustrating). That is one of the main reasons people are sticking to 1.6 because Source is so easy its taking all of the skill out of the game.

Hell, sums up my toughts, I used to play FireArms (a HL mod) untill they went all "realistic" and such (wobbeling guns, recoil, randomisation, etc) imho too much realism in a game isnt fun, because if we wanted realism we'd go outside.
