fairly impressive considering the small size of his average donations, although I am sure the $10k a plate fundraisers will come if he wins the nomination unless he really intends to carry this grassroots thing to the conclusion.

While that is likely to be the most money raised by any of the Democrats in the race, it pales in comparison to the $50 million raised by the Bush-Cheney re-election team in the third quarter alone.

It only sounds like alot until you add up how much the 9 democratic candidates have raised.

Yeah, I suppose it could add up to ~50 (adding the figures on the side, the total is 30), but I suppose Dems will spend all that money, while Bush and Cheney will keep it for next year.
