Need your help, canadian crew. I'll be going to Vancouver for a week at the end of May, and I have NO clue what kind of hotel i shouild book.

Can you guys suggest some cheap and convient hotels to downtown areas?
 
I hear the best deals are on the igloo hotels on the outskirts of town. 🙂

They do but some beavers don't like that.
 
Days Inn hotel in Downtown hotel is within walking distance to most all decent stuff. It can be had for about $79CDN/night. We stayed there last month when we flew in from Calgary to see Steve Vai in concert.

I stayed at a great place called The Cecil on new years. Cost $99/night in granville, close to all the action. Plus it was a strip club (and I have a feeling it was also a whore house), so you have strippers walking around your door. You can also go through the employee entrance to the club for free when you're bored
