Cancer project that will run on Linux

Is there any distributed computing projects that are working on treatments & cures for cancer that will run "natively" on a Linux (Ubuntu) operating system ?

I am looking for something that will run on Linux without having to add half a dozen other programs on top of it to get it to run and without having to digest a computer manual in order to get it to run.
