I think you're screwed weezergirl, sorry. :(

Q: Can I cancel or make any changes to my purchased itinerary?

A: All purchases made on Hotwire are final and cannot be cancelled, refunded, changed, exchanged or transferred. Change fees are not an option. If our travel partners can be absolutely confident that the products they sell through Hotwire will be used in the exact way they were sold, they can offer deeply discounted airline tickets, hotel reservations and car rental reservations. These restrictions enable our partners to better manage their unsold seats, rooms and cars and it is a big reason why we can offer you great deals. Credit cannot be given for any unused tickets or reservations. Once you agree to make a purchase on our site, your credit card will be charged for the total price shown -- regardless of whether the tickets or reservations are used. In order to make a purchase on our site, you must agree to Hotwire's Terms of Use.

Try to contact Hotwire and see if they can get the date changed.

Also, check with the airline.

The airline won't be able to do anything. You'll have to work through Hotwire.

I did that with Travelocity awhile back (plans changed - I got the phone call about 30seconds after I hit the "Accept") I think it was $75 or $100 to change, but they were able to do it.
