Did you ever play Lost Planet? Or saw some gameplay trailers for Vanquish (not released yet)? Looks very similar to those two IMO.

Eh, concept art and a conceptual video. Conceptual videos like that are made all the time for potential games, but, depending on how realistic the concept was, the final game doesn't really end up looking like the video (if the game ends up being made at all). Just ideas to show how the gameplay might look like, etc.

There was a similar video of Dawn of War 2, and of course the game looked nothing like it.

I would assume it was rendered as opposed to being a cutscene.
It looked a little too "produced" to be real-time in-game footage, IMO.

yeah, we've seen the most out of the PS3 outside of clever tricks and art direction
