Good Friday is a day off for a lot of people.

Yes, it is a national holiday. Schools are out and work is out.

Friday is the stat holiday. Most people take Monday off too. In Quebec the employer has to give you either the Friday or the Monday off, but it is their choice. School is out both Monday and Friday (yay for me).
