Yet another Canadian preaching to us.
Sometimes Canadians have something good to say, you know.

Canadians are pretty dumb in my experience. Most I've met were social retards.
If you had met me you'd know that's...crap, you are right.

wtf

In extremis, Britons can always buy dental emergency supplies made by a company called Passion for Health DenTek. These include materials that allow people to replace lost fillings, treat gum pain or reattach cracked crowns "until they can actually get in and see a dentist," said Jennifer Stone, the company's sales and marketing director. Sales in Britain have increased by 40 percent in the last year, Ms. Stone said.

Cant wait for this stateside!

It's interesting that the teeth of the peasants are in such horrible shape yet the Queen and others in her bloodline have acceptable teeth. Equality in their care?

This is why people hate America.
They like it when we're defending their country at our expense. They like it when we rebuild their countries after wars at our expense. They like it when we have ships full of food pulling into their ports at our expense. They like it when we're inoculating their children at our expense. They like it when when we open our markets while theirs are closed. They even like it when our tax dollars pay for their abortions.

If it was up to me, all this horse shit would cease and we'd let the rest of the world fend for themselves. They hate us now, they'll hate us then. We might as well save some money in the process.

What? I don't see your point. Third world people should have to put up with being insulted in order to get medical aid? I think they'd rather die with their honor intact to be honest. Plus I don't know why you directed that at me. I've got nothing at your expense and I woudn't want it if it was available.

My teeth are fine. I'd be happy to sink them into your neck as a demonstration.

You're being overly sensitive. My reply is not directed at you personally, it's directed towards your statement. Your statement is nothing we haven't already heard before.

Perhaps. I've been involved in a PM conversation with CanOWorms which is making me extraordinarily angry.

The first high school shooting that was widely reported led to tougher gun laws in Canada. Previously, you could just goto a store and buy a firearm, like the US.

What the hell is it with this myth that you can "just walk into a store and buy a firearm"? To buy a firearm in the US you must:

1 - Provide a government-issued photo ID with proof of age.
2 - Pass a Federally-mandated background check (NICS).

It's not like you walk in, take the gun off the shelf, pay, and leave.

ZV

You realize that this is barely above the restrictions of getting in a club or drinking booze right? As long as you aren't a convicted felon you get a free pass at a gun. How the heck is that a restriction? Even when someone should not be allowed to get a gun, they still do just because the restrictions are so ridiculously lax.

Cho was able to pass both background checks and successfully complete both handgun purchases after he presented to the gun dealers his U.S. permanent residency card, his Virginia driver's permit to prove legal age and length of Virginia residence and a checkbook showing his Virginia address, in addition to waiting the required 30-day period between each gun purchase. He was successful at completing both handgun purchases, even though he had failed to disclose information on the background questionnaire about his mental health that required court-ordered outpatient treatment at a mental health facility.[80][81][82]

Until the 1930's you could buy a fully-automatic machine gun at a general store with no background checks whatsoever. I don't recall there being an increased number of school shootings before then (if there were any at all).

So your solution to an inefficient bureaucracy which failed to correctly enforce the law is to do what, exactly?

Correct. Unless they are assailing US Constitutional rights.

Maybe the OP can start a thread on something he is more knowledgable about? Like moose mating rituals, or the Stanley Cup Finals? (I kid)

C'mon ease up. We're supposed to be the good guys.
