For those think Canadan soldiers are a joke, I was a very young man who had befriended a Canadian soldier who belonged to the equivalent of our Special Forces (which oddly the Canadians wouldn't admit to, at least at the time. He was 5'9" tops and perhaps 185-190lbs. Three badass marines at least 4 inches taller and 30 lbs heavier decided to have some fun with the Canuck. Things got rough and I thought they were going to beat thee shut out of him.

The first Marine went after him and I don't think it was 10 seconds before all three were out cold. The Canadian hadn't a mark on him and to this day I never figured out exactly what happened.

We still act a lot like the Brits and barely acknowledge the existence of special forces troops - we only heard about JTF2 (Joint Task Force 2) after 9/11 happened, and never heard about JTF1 at all.

Like Firebot I also noted that the number of active troops the article had Canada at was wrong by a factor of two. It's not a credible site in the least.
