<< I know I didnt say all AMericans just the ones at the games... >>

No this is what you said: THis is said and pathetic. Especially being in Newyork for one. Sept 11 attacks who sent tons of firefighters to help clean up the mess and deal with your shortages. Canada. Who sent military troops to Afganistan to help with your war on terrorism. Canada. Who bombed our troops last week during a Canadian exercise. Americans...

I don't see where you target the Americans at the game, simply used the most general pasting to get your pathetic point across.

Was what they did right? NO

Was it right when Canadians did it to American teams? NO.

Is it wrong to simply say "Americans" and then backpedal like you didn't say what you really did? YES

You do realize Canadian Bacon was just a movie don't you?

Well.. I remember seeing some fellow Canucks saying: "get over it" with regards to the American Flag/Olympics fiasco.. that didn't go over so well.

To those complaining: What exactly do you want?

A few tards at a basketball game doesn't represent our country more than a few canadian tards at a hockey game represents yours. Mountain, molehill, life goes on, wipe your tears and move on. Foaming at the mouth over something as juvenial as this (in both respects)does nothing positive for either side.

<< it pisses me off that if i told you guys to "get over it" if it was the other way around i would be flammed til there was no tomorrow.

i mean, i bashed detroit, DETROIT for gods sake and i got flammed.
I MEAN ITS DETROIT!

>>

It's just you Eakers. Anybody else would get away with it.

What is it with Canadians anyways? You whine during the Olympics and you whine about a stinking Ball game where some drunk Yahoo's boo your anthem. Stop yer Sniveling.

we're canadians its what we do. we whine about problems.
.

btw anyone wanna sign my petition against the reinstatement of the ottawa polar bear hunt? 😛

*kat. <-- 😀

its just upsetting. Another instant is when they were having a momment of silence for the 4 fallen Canadians and the American fans began to cheer...

its a sporting event, get over it.

when the university of kentucky, plays the University of louisville in B ball i notice there are usualy squables between fans. in a recent all-star High school game in louisville a uk fan and Uofl fan fought. its not actual hatred, it just shows the idots who care a little too much about their fave team.

i'm sure these guys were probaably drinking a bit too much before the game as well...

All you nimrods whining about how Americans could even think of booing the Canadian Anthem ESPECIALLY after our pilot dropped the bomb.......GET OVER IT.

Do you actually think you're the only country to ever lose soldiers in a war (via friendly or hostile fire)? Do yourself a favor and take a look at the Vietnam Memorial. See all those names inscribed there? That ain't a get well card signed by the boys in uniform.

yes war does have casualities not denying that fact. But how can they allow someone that dumb to fly a multimillion dollar plane armed with weapons...

News flash: People make mistakes.

As cold as this may sound, it was a mistake. Mistakes happen. We've lost several of our boys over there because of mistakes/accidents on our end. Heck, I think we've lost more soldiers due to mishaps than from the firefight with Al Queda/Taliban soldiers.

<< I mean yes I know the Canadians did it also, only after the americans did it. I know they shouldnt but still... >>

What about the Canucks fans during last year's playoffs? Or the Blue Jays fans during the world series a few years ago? Or the Canadian fans during the World Cup Hockey finals? Or...

Give me a break, this happens all the time. It'll make the news for a few days, and then everyone forgets about it until the next time. It has nothing to do with the nationality of the fans...it's simply asshole sports fans doing what they do best.

Do you even KNOW what happened?

<< The Associated Press reported from Kandahar that Afghan fighters manning a checkpoint near the accident site reported seeing eight or 10 red streaks heading skyward at a 45-degree angle, which they assumed to be tracer bullets from the exercise. >>

This would mean that there were shots at the planes. If you were shot at, by ANYONE, wouldnt you be alittle upset?

I'm going to give you the benefit of the doubt and assume you thought I was referring to "allow someone that dumb" as the mistake.
I was actually referring to the pilot who believed he was under attack making a mistake.
Sorry for the confusion.
🙂

Funny thing in Montreal last night, for the second straight game the US anthem was booed again at a Canadiens game. (Aside from the near riot from numerous fans running onto the ice and the Bruins being pelted with sodas and trash )

I should start a whole new thread whining about it but then I realize it's not a big deal at all and I should get over it
